Hide/Disable the Ad-hoc assignments in Case Content list in Review screen
Requirement is to hide/disable the assignments that are created from the process flow used in case type rule. But the assignments created by the adhoc flows or optional process should be available to the users.
So that users can perform the adhoc tasks but cannot advance the case to next assignment.
This can be achieved using wait shape, but there are multiple flows to be updated and it makes flow logic too complex in our case.
How this can be acheived in other ways? Is there any flag that identifies the assignment was created from adhoc/optional flows but not from the flow used in stages/steps of case type rule.

Hi BharatTeja,
If you just want to perform adhoc action while assignment is waiting for user's response without advancing the flow then use Local Actions in Assignment shape. The benifit of using LocalAction is that it does not advance the current flow during its execution, for example attaching file, sending correspondence etc. You can check this link on how to configure LA in assignment flow shape - https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v718/procomhelpmain.htm

Hi Rajesh,
Its just not a single action to use local action. While case level assignment is in hold/disabled, there are few links available in review screen to launch adhoc flows which will have series of assignments. It should allow to perform these assignments created by adhoc flow. the assignment created by flow in casetype should not be allowed to perform.

Hi Bharat,
What do you want to do in assignment that spin off other flows. Is it just a placeholder to call other flows , if Yes then you can use Split for Each to call multiple flows and join them with main flow to wait till ALL/Any /condition to resume.
