Hide tabs other than the active one!
Hi,
Greetings. I am on Pega 7.1.7 and we are using Dynamic tabbed layout for work object creation, the work objects are triggered by an event from a third party application, now my question is, Can we disable/hide the tabs other than the active ones? Tab focus shifts based on what the agent selects in the other application.
Ex: In a third party application, agent searches for two customers A and B, they appear in two tabs, a work object is created for each customer, WO-A and WO-B. When agent switches to B, WO-B will be active in Pega, that is all working fine and is controlled by other application.
Issue is when Agent switches to WO-A or WO-B in Pega, customers does not get switched automatically in the other application.
I need to know if there is a way to disable/hide the tabs in Pega which are not in active?
Appreciate any help on this!

OOTB, at this point of time there is no configuration to hide only selected tabs.
I'm not sure i understood your requirement correctly. But, Can you try using Tabless Dynamic Container? Tabless Dynamic Container will not show tabs. This will give you control to display only required work objects using recents functionality (Declare_pzRecentsCache and Declare_pxRecents).
Addiontally, The current active tab information available in a page called Declare_pyDisplay.pyUIActiveElements page... See if this help you.

Hi! You can hide it by using css selector and adding style display: none; or visibility:hidden, depends if you need reserved space.
e.g. for selected one
.Tab_style_from_skin .selected table#presentation td:last-child {display: none;}
for every one with reserved space
.Tab_style_from_skin table#presentation td:last-child {visibility: hidden;}
Maybe selectors can be different depending on Pega version.
