Pega Sales Automation (PSA) Framework: It is used for building sales automation applications that support the sales process from lead generation to closure. The framework includes features such as lead management, opportunity management, sales process automation, and more.
Pega Marketing Framework: It is used for building marketing automation applications that support personalized marketing campaigns. The framework includes features such as predictive analytics, decision management, campaign management, and more.
There are also other frameworks such as Pega Robotics, Pega Field Service, Pega Government Platform, and more, each with its own unique set of features and purposes.
In terms of version changes, Pega releases new versions of its platform periodically, typically every six months. These new versions include new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. It's important to keep up with these new versions to take advantage of the latest features and ensure compatibility with newer technologies. For example, Pega 8 introduced new features such as low-code app development, AI-powered decisions, and cloud-based deployment options.
