Goals and Deadline

Do I have to configure deadline for a SLA on a task. The business do not need any deadline for the corresponding tasks assigned to a bunch of operators.

IF deadline is required , then how do we override that in Pega 8+

I could not find an OOTB way to conditionally apply the SLA on the assignment.

Instead, we use a decision shape and 2 similar assignments, one with SLA configuration and another with no SLA configuration. Route the required assignment to the operator using decision shape.

I don't think the Deadline is mandatory but anyway you could have a fake one doing nothing on the case (no status change neither priority change).
