To give button name as dot(.)
In section i have a button, i have a requirement to give the button name as .(dot).
if i give the button name as .(dot) it showing error.
Button Caption-> invalid property Reference
any one suggest how to keep the name of button as dot.

Did you create a field value with "."? If yes then you will face the same issue again. Create with some other name and translate it to.

You should be able to escape the dot using \
We can create a field value and mention "." in that and refer the field value for the button text.
Enter a text in the Button caption text and click on the cross-hire icon to create the field value for this button and translate it to "." in the field value.
