Getting the error "Cannot render section CPM-PORTAL.CPMPortalGadget" after the Upgrade from CPM6.2 to CRM 7.22 in Pega 7.3

Hi All, We have upgraded our environment from Pega 6.2 SP1 to Pega 7.3. After that we have upgrade the CPM6.1 framewrok to CRM7.22. After the successfull upgrade we have started fixing the issues related to the portal. Since CPMManager_Portal are no longer supported, I am trying to customize CPMAccountManager_Portal to fix the issues. While doing the same, I got the following issue. "Cannot render section CPM-PORTAL.CPMPortalGadget" Gettng this error in CPMAccountManager_Body section while editing. PFA the screenshots for the OOTB rule customized rule and the section preview error. Could you please help on the same....

Hi Vaisakh, Thanks for posting on PSC. Just to start investigate, are you trying to "Preview" this section standalone from designer studio? If not, is the error occurred during runtime of flow execution? As per initial look, it could be data context issue. Though, please share the tracer capturing "Stream Rule" option checked in tracer settings.

Hi Asif, I am previewing the section standalone from designerstudio. ** Section 'CPMPortalGadget' execution error on page 'pyTempWorkPage' of class 'CPM-Portal'. : null Showing the same error as well while tracing during the preview of the section.

Hi all, if you are using 7.22, the portal rules have all been updated. There's no more reliance on the CPMPortalGadget section. If you look at the OOTB CASysAdmin Access Group, you will see the two new portals, CPMInteractionPortal and CPMAccountManager_Portal. They have been updated to use new harnesses that don't rely on the Gadgets. This work is required as a part of the upgrade process.
