Generating File treatment
Pega CDH 8.7. I'm trying to create a file treatment. On the action, there are 3 options per Action Evaluation Criteria (see attachment):
- Mandatory
- Default
- Transactional
When using the option "Mandatory (Do not apply arbitration or outbound limits)" for the Action Evalutation Criteria, the file was correctly created. On the other hand, when using the Default or Transactional option, the file was not created. Why?

Hello.
As business case, we need to create a file containing customer data (such as id, name, surname, address, city, postal code, and so on). And we neeed to load this fle in a FS.
We succeded in creating a File type template; we recalled this template within the action flow on the Send Generic shape.
The problem is that we noticed that the file is produced and sent in the FS only if action is set on Mandatory. Otherwise, if the action is set on Default or Transactional, the file is not created.
As treatment type we used an Agent assisted with direction Outbound and channel Retail.

Would you please explain why you are creating this file which seems to contain customer information and how this file is being used or consumed?

Creating this file is my requirement.
Pega CDH reads customer information from both an internal database and an external source.
After this, Pega CDH needs to:
1) create this file
2) perform additional logic (if necessary)
3) send this enriched file to a filesystem, where the Client can access to get it.

@FabioR80 , the other 2 options on the action will mean that arbitration and/or outcome limits will be in play. As such, if another action beats out this action, there will be no communication of this action on behalf of that customer and thus no output to file. You need to validate if this action is wining or not under these circumstances. I recommend you use the Customer Profile Viewer capability, specifically the next best action tab, to test a decision for a specific customer and validate if the action you are expecting to win under these circumstances is actually winning and if not why (if you are expecting it)
