Find sections which have used CSS Classes in our app
We would like to eliminate the dependency on the CSS files attached to our skin.
How do we find out whether the css classes are being referred in any of the sections in the application.

Hi Avinash, Good morning!
would the following steps be of help?
- Create a report definition on Rule-HTML-Section retrieving only the application section rules
- Issue Obj-Open-By-Handle on each section
- loop through RULE-OBJ-PROPERTY RULE-HTML-SECTION PYSECTIONS page list to body, header, row and cell to check if properties either pyInlineStyle or pyReadOnlyStyle, pyReadWriteStyle contains a value.
- if found build a page list containing the rule names
- refer to pxConvertResultsToCSV to build an excel report listing all the section rules containing the CSS file associated to the rule.

Seems like there is no OOTB way available as with inline styles. Can we configure to throw guardrail if any CSS classes are being used?

- if not looking for specific CSS, we could run by guardrail report...
- which pulls harness, sections and all UI rules associated with css files.

- OOTB should throw guardrail warning.

- we may need to customize OOTB activity CheckForCustomWarnings in each rule type class.
