Filtering on nodes inside the treeGrid - EPIC-18568 - Version 7.2.2
Hello,
We are using a Tree Grid and we wish to filter on all levels of the tree. Currently it is only filtering on level L0 of the tree grid.
We have previously opened an SR for it (SR-B1525) and we were told that this functionality will be added to Version 7.2.2.
It was documented as the following: Template Grid supports Range & Search Filtering (EPIC-18568)
We have moved to the new version 7.2.2 but the functionality is still not working: we can only filter on L0 nodes.
Was the functionality indeed implemented in version 7.2.2?
If yes, can you please help us in using it ?

On reviewing the SR, we see that it has been resolved with the below explanation.
Filtering of tree grid to include results on child nodes are not supported. Providing this is not considered in the product design since the primary intention of have a tree grid must be to provide data at top level entry. The tree grid provides an easy way of drilling down the data.
For this use case, it was recommended that the filtering in child nodes needs to be addressed by managing the data that is the source for the tree grid.
