Facial Recognition Capability
We have a requirement to add facial recognition feature to our solution developed with Pega 7.3 (built on top of HCIF). After analysis found that Pega only provides the facial recognition feature in KYC and CLM applications as per the below links. Hence, we need to know how we can incorporate this facial recognition feature into our solution. Can anyone advise on this.

Hi,
I am the Product Manager for Pega CLM. As of version 7.31 we provided a integration with a Spanish company . Their solution provides the ability to scan a passport or other supported document with a web cam or tablet/phone camera. A second short video is taken of the individuals face and biometric matching occurs.
A web interface is provided by the third party for reviewing matches manually in jurisdictions that require that. As part of the integration data from the ID document can be scraped via OCR and mapped to the case for improved efficiency.
While this end to end use case is built into Pega CLM and KYC the underlying integration component could be provided and reused.

The component from the company was built into the Business Services architecture of the Pega Foundation for Financial Services and then consumed by the Pega Client Lifecycle Management retail application's WSS portal. I should be able to provide those components we used but you will still need to contact the third party to gain an account. Additional work will be required on your end if you are not using Pega Client Lifecycle Management but hopefully it will get you started for your client.
