The exercise system is currently being extended error

Hello,

I keep getting the below error when clicking Pega Exercise System Link.

"The exercise system is currently being extended to allow for more students. Please check again later."

I have already tried 3 different browsers. Also tried after clearing cookies etc on Chrome. No Luck.

Please suggest as way out

I have been seeing the same exact error with the lessons in System Architect Essentials, since 3/7/19. So far I have seen it in the exercises on both lesson 8 and 13.

Hello,

We apologize that the Open Exercise System was unavailable. The issue has been repaired and  cloud based exercise systems are now available.  You should now be able to access the exercises using the Open Exercise System link within the SAE v8 and BAE v8 courses.

This is still an issue. Pega 8 (CSA) exercise URLs are unavailable in Configuring Case type (lesson 8)

How did you get the link or URL to access the exercise system. For me there is no link in the exercise.

We are experiencing technical difficulties with the cloud-based exercise environment. We have limited this course to the VM-based exercise environment until the cloud-based environment is fully operational. Please see the lesson titled Downloading the exercise environment for details re how to download the VM.

It would be really helpful to know where I can find the VM.  I've conducted searches all over your website and have found nothing indicating a source for OVA, OVF, ISO, or any other types of files for a VM.

I've also searched the Learning Library for a lesson called "Downloading the exercise environment":

you can find the VM in the course. In each of the 8.x courses, there is a lesson titled Downloading the exercise system. In that lesson is a button used to download the exercise system.

Please note that you will not find this lesson via a search in Pega Academy. The reason for this is each course has a unique VM.

I was able to locate it, download the TAR (renamed as OVA), and install it in VirtualBox.
