Execute SQL statements periodically

Hello,

I would like to create an agent in Pega 6 that periodically executes an SQL statement in order to purge/archive data in the database. Do you have an hints for me how I can realize that? Even though this procedure can be implemented with the Oracle Scheduler, I want to build it within Pega.

Always remember the OOTB purge archive or a Rule-Connect-SQL will not cause the search index to be updated with the deletions. A re-index for that class (or set of classes) is required to keep the index up to date.
