We have few requirements where we need to implement background processing via agents.

We have implemented agent which is processing items at particular day in a week meaning user is submitting bulk request once in a week. System has to process all the submitted request ASAP.

We are able to implement this requirement by implementing the standard/advance agent with periodic interval of 10 sec. This agent is able to process all submitted items in agreed SLA. Now my question is Agent execution is useful for that day only however agent is also active for rest of the days which is consuming system resources.

Is there any way to disable agent instance for 6 days and enable only for 1 day automatically.?
