Excel sets default value 1/1/70 in empty cells for date property

Do you have dynamic system setting (DSS) "disableEpochDateTime" set to true?
What is the version of Pega you are using?

Please check below two pdn links. This is an expected behavior. The suggested local change is to set the following Dynamic system setting's value to "true".
1. for Date property : use dynamic system setting "disableEpochDate".
2. for DateTime property : use dynamic system setting "disableEpochDateTime".
both of these DSS's owning ruleset is "Pega-IntegrationEngine".

Hi,
It is expected behavior that the clipboard layer will not return an empty value.
The disableEpochDateTime DSS is applicable only for the integration layer which relies on following API internally - com.pega.pegarules.pub.util.PRDateFormat.formatXSDDateTime(Date). As far as the SET action/property-set methods in the clipboard layer return the default value for properties of type DateTime and the default value is 01-jan-1970.
