Error while importing PFFS.zip file
pyArchiveType: The selected code archive has an invalid extension of 'zip'. Please validate the archive type and change the extension to 'jar' or select another file to import.
Upgraded platform from 8.8.3 to 24.1 and later trying to import PFFS framework but got the error. Can't I import the zip file ?

You’re hitting this because you picked the “Import code” path, which only accepts .jar files. The PFFS framework you downloaded is a Pega product/component archive (RAP) and it’s supposed to be a .zip. Don’t rename it. Instead, go to Dev Studio → Application → Distribution → Import, choose the .zip, and run the wizard to import rules and data. If you also received a separate code .jar, import the .zip first via Import, then import the .jar via “Import code.” If the .zip still fails, open it and confirm it contains a product manifest (Data-Admin-Product XML or manifest JSON); if not, re-download the correct PFFS 24.1 package. Also make sure you’re on an admin operator with import privileges and that the file isn’t double-zipped by your browser.
