I am trying to learn about setting up users for specific work groups. I am obviously missing something, but I don't know what. I copied an existing/working user, and tried to change it to a non-admin user group. When I try to log in with that new user id, i get this. Where can I go to fix this? Thanks,
"You lack access required to execute Rule-Obj-Activity.Show-Harness" when setting up new users.
This user was copied from another existing user, and I changed access groups to one of the standard user access groups.

Based on our conversation you are trying to "set up a user who sees the Case manager upon login (not the Designer Studio), and when they click get-next-work, it gets things from a particular workbasket". The Case Manager portal will be setup using the Access Group associated with the Operator.
The second part of your requirement will be configured using the Workbaskets on the Work tab for the Operator ID form.
As for Work Groups, I will try to find some documentation for you.
Thanks. I created a new Access group, custom to my application, and assigned it a role (also new, custom to my application) It did not have any reference to @baseclass. I added that in, and it lets me in now with that ID. Thanks much!

Great! If you are not using a standard PegaRules role at all then you may want to clone an existing one into your custom application role or you will probably find that there are other standard things that you don't have access to, or that you have too much access if everything is permitted @baseclass
