"Error connecting Server" - Error on browsing "Fields" in RobotActivity

Hi,

When I add a robot activity in pega robotics studio project, specify class name and browser for fields I get a pop up error saying "Error connecting Server". I am using Pega personal edition 7.3. Configured tomcat for SSL. When I see the error logs it says.

Thanks for you suggestions guys, the issue finally got fixed.

Following are the steps I have done:

  1. I configured tomcat to use HTTPS by adding a self signed certificate - not needed removed it.
  2. Ensured the RuntimeConfig and StudioConfig xmls are configured properly.
  3. Cleared data related to studio in AppData
  4. Configure operator and as suggested by @plase ensure TLS/SSL is unchecked.
  5. Shutdown both pega server and studio. Restart the system - step is optional.

Hi Naveen,

From the above stack traces i feel that your remote certificate  is invalid according to the validation procedure. This is most likely due to it being self-signed and not signed by a trusted certification authority.

As referred, it is a localhost setup of pega personal edition. I think on local computer installing a certificate signed by trusted certification authority is not possible. I might not have info on it..Request  anyone to suggest on how to handle this on a local personal edition.

Since you are using a localhost setup, try unchecking the 'Use TLS/SSL' option located in Records -> Integration -> Resources -> Service Package -> API to see if that resolves.
