I have never seen the debugger crash like that. There are potential errors when you delete a link without removing the breakpoint. To correct this, close all open automations (close everything open in the solution) and then select Delete All Breakpoints from the menu. Then you can add your back in. If you are still getting the issue, a RuntimeLog may help. If you can attach one, that might be helpful. If not, I would suggest opening a support request as it will likely take looking at your solution to resolve the issue.
