Error code 5315 trying to access DB table in Teradata
Hi,
We are trying to connect PEGA7.2 to Teradata DB. We are experiencing issues when Databasetable rule is run/test connectivity executed.
DBA is not in alignment to grant user below access stating locking issues on DBC, what other options do we have to resolve this issue?
code: 5315 SQLState: HY000 Message: [Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC Proprietary information hidden] [Error 5315] [SQLState HY000] The user does not have SELECT access to DBC.UDTInfo.TypeName.

Grant database user that is connecting to the external Teradata database SELECT access to DBC.UDTInfo.

Well, I'm not sure. How are you accessing the database and how is the JDBC driver configured. Perhaps you could reconfigure from that access point and use a database operator with required privileges. Your DBA should be able to suggest one.

The problem itself is granting access/privilege by DBA for user. And the first is why do the UBC access is required by Pega as its restricted table.
