Enable Elastic Search on Data Objects
Hi there,
I am trying to implement Elastic Search on the Data Objects in our application (PEGA 8.5.2). However, I couldn't enable the search on the data objects.
Here are the steps, i followed to enable the search
1. Updated the Dynamic System settings to enable the indexing/useDataInstances
2. Updated the Custom Search Properties Panel to accommodate DataClass and the attributes required in the Search.
3. Re-Indexed the Data layer to pick up the data Objects in the Search
Would be great, if someone can shed a light on the approach.

--> What is the symptom when you try 're-index'?
--> What errors do you see in the Search Landing Page ?

4. Did you check if you can start the pyFTSIncrementalIndexer QP which is currently not running?

Thanks for publishing the articles. From Elastic search perspective, i can confirm that search is working on Work layer and the rules. However, on the data layer it was not giving the desired results
My bad, if my query establishes a different perspective.
However, after intense research I noticed that for data classes, PEGA requires dedicated indexes that needs to be created for each data class.Hence went with that approach and enabled search on the data objects.
