Embedded property getting some default value from index rules

Hi Team,

I have a page pyworkPage.TaskSchedule.Recurrance detailas. This page has a property "pyenddate" which is set to some date by default before users provides value on UI.

As per the analysis there is a declare index on another property of Task schedule page .. that index rule in turn triggers two other index rules one of them is on pyend date.

This index rules do fwd and bckd chaining and finally settng value of pyend date. I am not user how pega backward chanining is getting the value of pyEnd Date please help.

Without seeing the rules in question it is very tough to surmise the path. You could certainly trace them and watch the chain of events.
