Elastic search on a clustered env
I would like know If we add multiple host nodes for indexing through Search Landing Page then do we need to add same in the relevant DSS indexing/hostID, indexing/hostname etc. If yes, then how do wee add multiple values to this DSS for such scenarios.
Also in that case will there be multiple pySOAPUri values? If yes, then how the current node(non-search node) decides to connect to which SOAP Uri for index retrieval?
And which takes precedence the values in Landing Page or DSS?
Please help!

You should avoid changing the DSS values manually in most cases (unless instructed to by someone from Pega or Pega documentation), the landing page should update any DSS values that are needed. When configuring elasticsearch (whether one or multiple nodes as index host nodes), you shouldn't generally need to make changes to anything beyond the configuration of the landing page.

Ah, that is from 7.1.6 before elasticsearch was implemented in 7.1.7.
You cannot have multiple index host nodes unless you are using elasticsearch.

Thanks for the information. Just one more query---since from Pega 7.1.7 FTSIncrementalIndexer Agent was introduced to update the indices replacing the Agents SystemIndexer and SystemWorkIndexer which were used prior to 7.1.7. I see the in 7.3 the Agent SystemIndexer still being enabled whereas Agent SystemWorkIndexer being disabled. What could be the possible reason for this?
