What is the best way to implement Edit in Excel Functionality in PEGA 8.X. We want it in the similar way, it used to be done in earlier version with List View. The data will be shown in the UI Grid with a Report Definition there. The requirement is on click of the button the excel should open and data can be edited/updated and saved directly in bulk from the Excel.

I don't believe we have this feature in report definitions in general, so this is not an issue of a this going away in 8.x
Report definitions still support export to excel, but I am not aware of any edit in excel capability.
Edit in excel capability is still valid for decision tables, data tables (local storage). But with that said, this has since followed a more simplified import/export model instead of live editing with macros and ActiveX.
Perhaps someone can confirm my understanding here or correct if I've missed anything.
