Plan for Pega AES 8.x
Whats the plan for having a 8.x AES version.
Pega 8.x has been since a while and we don't have AES support for Pega 8.x
Thoughts please.

PDC has similar and has more features over AES while monitoring/interpreting the new 8.x platform. PDC has more adoption and enhancements coming up on weekly releases and also easy to maintain.

Understood. But there is no AES version yet to full support 8.x and don't have any timeline.
Try reaching out to your Account Executive for PDC adoption & setup which is recommended for 8.x.

AES 831 has been released. It is functionally similar to PDC 2.31.
PDC service will always be "the better option" as by nature the service gives you :
- Better features. We enhance the PDC service weekly. We plan for AES get new features annually.
- Better support. At our discretion, PDC team, GCS and Pega Consulting can collaborate with you to help advise on issues and to troubleshoot any issues using the PDC service itself. Vastly superior to support ticket, screen shares, sending logs, etc
- Better price/TCO. PDC service is FREE. Even if AES is licensed, you must provide stack (hardware, software license, data center charges) and staff (install, monitor and administer AES application) to run it.
