Dynamic password for Database connections in jboss datasource

Hi All,

I have a requirement to define the passwords in the data source (pegarules and AdminPegaRules) configured in jboss configurations as dynamic.

When it is mentioned as dynamic, the passwords should be used from API's or bash scripts

Could you please help if any encountered the same in past and if any solutions available.

Dynamic passwords can be leveraged in different ways. Ultimately any dynamic variable would need to be configured within the system or application so that whatever interface (API's, BashScripts, etc) are being used have access to the resources where the password is stored in memory. Often times this is done with system properties and scripts running in the correct user groups. These system defined user groups will have the permissions to access the dynamic password (or any variable).
