Duplicate assignment created for an assignment

Hi All, this is related to Pega SmartInvestigateForPayments framework.

I have a Struct-Email assignment for which the status needs to be updated to 'Sent'. We have a declare trigger activity configured to update the status of the assignment (and email corr attachment). When this rule is being triggered on the page, new pzInsKey is getting generated instead of using the existing key. Because of this the status of the email attachment is not getting updated as system is unable to find the correct attachment using the key. Any idea why new key is getting generated?

 

Declare Trigger rule will be initiated when Obj-Save is triggred.

Issue resolved.

As pxCreateDateTime property was set before obj-save, new key formed and hence the duplicate assignment got created. After removing hte date property, it worked fine.
