Double Value not displaying properly

I have a requirement to store weight value as double.We are displaying the weight in UI also in UI i have configured a text box and displaying the weight value.my issue is like the value in property is 50.0 but in UI its being displayed ad 50,0.how to resolve this.kindly help because when i try to save from UI its displayed as 50,0 instead of 50.0 and it breaks our functionality.

Hi,

Could you please provide the below details to look further.

  1. What is the data type of the property configured for weight?
  2. What is the locale (Language) used in your application?
  3. Pega Version?

Hi Praveen,

It seems to be this is a localization issue.
In some locale like french and Italy, the comma is used as decimal and dot as number separator.
Displaying numbers and currency in different locales is not possible. In Pega Locale is set on requestor level. Once the locale is set for that particular requestor, both the number and currency are displayed in the same locale.

Plus, I'd suggest to look into Windows profile configuration (Pega can take the ./, format from a browser which takes it from Windows)
