Does the secured REST connector still have an issue with key/truststore failures in 7.1.8?

Is this a known issue in 7.1.8? Client is asking for confirmation...

Hello ,
I have checked the corresponding Bug id for this article and found that that the issue is addressed in 7.1.8 and later versions .
We overhauled all of the SSL/TLS UI and code for REST Connectors (and SOAP...) in Pega 7.1.8. The customer's REST Connectors will most likely "just work" if they are on 7.1.8 or later.
We no longer use the hard-coded "SSL" context, and actually default to TLS 1.2 .
