I would suggest specifying routing information on the assignment shape on the flow rule to specify who's list the assignment should go to.   Try right-clicking the assignment shape and choose "properties".  Do you see fields there for specifying routing ?  Some versions of Pega had a specific routing ticket shape you could attach to assignment shapes for this purpose as well.  /Eric

We are developing end to end testing application AUT for existing Pega applications. In this we do not change the existing application.

We have a separate portal for that application where we create a Test Run for that application.

From Pega OOTB - we create Test Case from 'Record Test Case' button. Then, in our Portal - we will create Test Suit and execute the Test Run.

Now, we are calling the different flow action assignments - by calling the 'Finish Assignment ' method for all the assignments of the Flow.

This is working good .( i.e. the work object is getting created and Resolved on executing Test Run).

My question here is - if we need to execute a assignment by calling Finish Assignment method - by different User - then how to do it.

In Automated Unit Testing - if I want to check that whether User A can perform specific Assignment - and the User User B can perform another assignment - How to impersonate a User in Pega for AUT.

Does pega security allows it or, not ?

We can not use Routing and changing of existing application's Flow.

From your discussion I think you want to finish the assignment from another user other than the current one, I think first you need to assign this assignment (which is similar to routing but not modifying the Flow)to the user2 (use pxTransferssignment OOTB activity)then you can call the finish assignment similar to your old code.
