Does DX Api support datapage with parameter?
Hi,
I was preparing a demo regarding DX api but faced the below issue.
Supposed there is a cascading dropdown where the second dropdown is dependent on the first dropdown. We are passing the first dropdown value as a parameter to the second dropdown. Now everything is fine in pega. But when we are trying to render the section from react, react is not passing the parameter while fetching the data for the datapage. In fact at react end, it is not aware that the data page requires some parameter.
Is it a current limitation at DX api end?

The post is related but I am looking for very specific limitation of this feature. But this limitation can be a deal breaker in quite a few scenarios.

I get the same troubles with using DataPages on Angular App.
I configure two hierarchy fields with DataPage source. But not works..
I get this error: core.js:4117 ERROR TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined at DropdownComponent.push../src/app/_fieldcomponents/dropdown/dropdown.component.ts.DropdownComponent.ngOnInit (dropdown.component.ts:108) ...
When I revised the Angular code I identified that issue is here:
let dpParams = this.fieldComp.control.modes[0].dataPageParams;
In this code line the result is undefined ... so the next code line try to do:
if (dpParams.length > 0) {
And crash...
Somebody know how to solve this issue? Thks a lot.
p.s: When I tested in Pega everything is fine.

Hi everyone,
I was detected the cause of my issue. I checked that API request of my view doesn´t content the property "dataPageParams": [], (Dropdown API.png).
For this reason, the Angular code get a error when try to execute this statement:
let dpParams = this.fieldComp.control.modes[0].dataPageParams;
I don´t know why API Request doesn´t contain this property... I am researching about that.
If someone know why is the reason pls let me know.
