Displyaing image , sourcing from external DB

Hi,

The gif or HTML file are present in either an external file location or the database. We cannot create Rule-File-Binary for them as the number is huge and constantly changing. Also putting it into a work object is not feasible. So we have the files in external file location and in an external db. The trouble is fetching the files and displaying them to the user at run time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Suresh,

You can get the file as base64 content on the clipboard and then write a Control to take the base 64 content as a parameter.In the control use the below code to display the image on the screen.

<pega:save name="SourceName" ref="param.ImageSource" />

<img src="data:image/jpg;base64,<pega:reference name='$save(SourceName)'/>">
