Difference between myStepPage and TOP
Hi everyone,
I have this scenario:
When I define in Page And Classes "myStepPage" sometimes it didn't work. In the same way, when I define "TOP" in this part it doesn't work.
Can anyone help me to understand why it does not work or how should I use it?

HI,
myStepPage refers to the page that you mention in the step. If it is blank , it will refer to the primary page of the activity.
Top refers your workpage.

Hello,
Defining "myStepPage" on pages and classes tab will not referencing the real StepPage at runtime if you don't specify it correctly.
Can you clarify your need here with a quick screen shot maybe

MyStepPage -- The current context / page of the rule execution. Mostly Usage of this seen in functions.
TOP- In the context of an embedded page, identifies the top-level page to which the current embedded page belongs (Pega Definition and I support it :D)

In many cases, your Java code needs to reference variables defined in the Java generated for a step. For example, the generated Java often uses the variable myStepPage to refer to the current step page. (The step page must be on the clipboard before the Java step starts).

TOP always can be referred in Pages and Classes, and can be used as step page where it refers the parent context from the current embedded context.
