Despite the fact that the SSL checkbox of Robotics' Service Package is off, connecting with Robot via https will connect
SSL/HTTPS was configured on Apache Tomcat. Browser can only connect Pega platform by HTTPS protrocol.
Our customer forgot to check SSL check box on Robotics service package but Robot still can connect to Pega Platform via service package. Base URL on CommonConfig.xml was chaged to HTTPS.
Is this normal behavior?

The TLS/SSL checkbox enforces that a REST call made to that service package endpoints adheres to the HTTPS standards. By not checking it, your client is lifting that enforcement. It will still accept that type of connection, but it won't make it a requirement. Hope this clarifies the behavior.

Can anyone explain this behavior?
I should admit this checkbox is only check incoming request is via HTTPS. So if application server is setup for HTTPS, Client connect REST service via HTTPS does not require this chekbox is checked.
