Deep linking between two pega applications

Hi,

We have a requirement in our project where two Pega applications has to interact with each other about the case data.So I have some regarding this. Please let me know if any one of you have achieved this. If so how.

  • If I am in app 1 and know the pyID or pzInsKey of a work object of app 2, can we launch that app on click of link from app1 to open the work object?
  • If yes can that be opened in review harness ? If the user's access group has access, can he perform an action on the assignment as well?
  • Is it necessary to send the users credentials in the URL? If yes can the password be encrypted?
  • Can this be achieved using SSO?

Are those 2 application from 2 different environment ? if yes then you can't access directly better to use with integration services.

If same environment then as long as we maintain the dependency rulesets on application stack then it should work with out any issues. But if these 2 has dependency then always better to maintain with build on application or as child cases for one main application.
