Hi @SurajK47: Please see the platform installation guide for the details. During the app server setup, you will be configuring PegaRULES database data source related details. PEGA will be using these configuration to connect to DB.

You can refer to "Configuring database users" and  data source sub section of "Configuring your application server" in installation guide.
