Datapage loading takes more time when we use load source as ReportDefination
Hi All,
We have customer information which is around 10 subsections with load source as 10 datapages. All the data pages bring data from DB and we have used Report defination as source. But every page takes minimum 0.5 secs and when we change that load source to load activity with obj-browse it reduces to 0.05 secs. So We would like to know what is the best source for data pages.

Hi Deva,
There is no clear classification as a best source. However depending on data size and requirement you may chose what suits best.
In this case, have you optimized the properties used in Report. That should significantly improve the report performance.

Hi Fayaz,
Thanks for your response. In report all the columns are exposed. Problem hear is when ever we use report definition it is taking more then 0.5 seconds to finish pxRetrieveReportData activity . So that is impacting our performance drastically. We are expecting screen to load in 1 second but screen is loading 5 seconds.
