Data Pages for Repeating Grid with Pagination
Hello,
We are using an editable data page as a source to repeating grid. However when repeating grid is configured with pagination like pages of size 10 records, the first page displays results 10 records but when navigating to next page, neither the pagination nor the records are visible on the screen.
Is there any limitation of Data page as a source of repeating grid with pagination ?
Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks for the responses.
The issue has been resolved. We are using a parameterised data page and passing a parameter for data page params. While using pagination data page has parameter values initially but when clicked on any other page parameter value is no longer available. Fixed the issue by passing a property reference for data page param.

I had tried the similar use case in Pega 7.2.2 to test the pagination navigation with 10 records using Editable Data Page list as grid source, but it is working as expected. Once i had noticed the similar kind of issue with the pagination navigation and came to know that the root cause of this behavior was due to the section corruptness. I created the new section and added the grid with the data page then the issue was not reproducible, you can have a try to create another section and add the grid with data page to check the behavior. If it is still reproducible, then we need to further investigate on this issue.

Hi Satish,
Please verify the tracer for any errors after clicking pagination and also verify the clipboard for Datapage records were loaded properly or not. If you found any errors in tracer and clipboard please share the screens prints for further investigation.

After clicking pagination data page is not being loaded properly. I dont see any errors in tracer. However I see few error details in stack trace. PFA for more details.
Any suggestions in addressing it would be appreciated.

Hi Satish,
Please check if Under Load management tab Reload on each interaction check box is enabled or not. I guess this may cause similar sort of issues.

I am using editable data page and reload on each interaction or refresh strategy is not applicable for editable data pages.
Please let me know in case of any other suggestions.

Can you please try once by keeping Read only Data Page so that we may get to conclusion that this may be due to issue with refresh.
Yes this issue may be due to keeping Editable Dpage as source because when you trying to fetch second set of results, Dpage wont get triggered as it already exists on Clipboard.

Data page is sourced by an activity. When manually run it returns more than 100+ results. I shared tracer details in this post just in case if it helps to suggest the solution.

Hi Satish,
Could you please explain how you passed the property reference? I am facing the same issue now. Only the first page of results is getting displayed the grid and there is no option to select pagination. I am able to see too many results in tracer. But, not getting displayed in grid when I select the pagination option. There is no option to select next page or next set of results. I am using a parameterized datapage as a source for this grid in Pega 7.3.
Please let me know what all the changes you made to display the pagination option.
