Data page - behavior when error encountered during refresh
Hi Team,
Application has a node level data page sourced from a REST connector. The refresh strategy is to reload once in 7 days. My question is
1. During the refresh if the rest connector is down and data page is not properly populated ; in this scenario will the next reference to data page again reloads it. (or whether the partially loaded data page stays in memory for the next 7 days)

If the rest connector is down then exception handling should be done it could be either queuing it to queue processor after some specific time to execute (delayed queueprocessor) the connector and repopulate the datapage or sending the email notification or adding it to log for further debugging.
Definitely exception handling should be in such situations to avoid the stale data.

@P.Siva.Praveen but my observation is when the data page is referenced it tries to reload (though reload strategy is configured for next 7 days) ;just wondering whether behind the scenes it is looking at pyErrorPage properties

In that case, you can have a post load datapage processing activity which can be added in the datapage ruleform to counter / handle those exceptions.
I believe the error related pages can be accessible in post load processing activity.

I'm not entirely sure on this but I think the partially loaded data page stays in memory for the next 7 days.
