Data Model Lesson Refactoring of Data Class

As per the lesson when a data class is identified as not needed and can be used ootb data model.in the course it was suggested to delete the class but what if it was already moved to PROD.Is there a way to refactor them in PROD.Is it a correct way.

Because a Class rule itself does have a version you cannot withdraw it but you can withdraw every versioned rule that uses that class.

A major skim is another possibility to explore.
