Data mismatch due to EST and GMT timezones

Hi,

We have a report definition which uses custom section  to show the filter dates(Stores in EST timezone) and we are passing pxcreatedatetime as parameter to report definition which is in GMT format.

 

Due to this, we are missing out few cases in the report. Tried raising an SR with Pega and below is their reply: The reported behavior is the expected one. Report definition will fetch the results based on the Opeartor's timezone.We need to write a custom function alias to alter this behavior and pass this function in the report definition to get the desired result.

 

Can anyone help me on the same

In the custom filter section you can select Date or DataTime?

Can you tell one example with values of selected filter date/time for From/To and pxcreatedatetime of the case which is missing?
