Data Migration from On premise sources to PEGA cloud.

Hi, there is a requirement we are working up on where we have to migrate data (in the size of few GB's) from on premise sources to PEGA Cloud. The data base provided is POSTGRE SQL.

If this data is made available in flat files, is there a way to import the data directly into database without using pega components like file listeners. The data will be made available periodically in form of flat files.

On discussing this internally, we encourage you to start your dialog with your Pega contact, the Pega Account Executive or take the services of the Pega Migration team. This Pega environment migration to Cloud depends on each of the components in your set-up and this would need an assessment of your system by Pega.

Hi

We recently did a migration from On prem to AWS Cloud Postgres DB, and there is no need for flat files or anything.

For us, we took the help of DBA's to identify the best way to migrate the data. DBA's then did from there end which was quick and efficient(Ofcourse it also depends on the amount data to be migrated)

I suggest get in touch with the DBA team or as suggested above take help of Pega.
