Is there documentation or guidance available in order to select the appropriate capabilities between the Azure Application Gateway, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Traffic Manager in order to meet Pega's minimum requirements? Essentially can these 3 provide the necessary combination of capabilities in order to properly enable Pega's HA requirements. Or do I have to look at deploying a virtual F5 load balancer in order to accomplish it? In Pega Cloud for a high availability environment the Pega HA guide states there are certain minimum requirements for load balancing function including session affinity, health monitoring, and also the capability for the Pega function called Quiese to interact with the load balancer to indicate that you want to take an application node offline.

For the load balancing on Azure, Pega supports Azure's The Application Gateway. The Application Gateway supports session affinity and health checks. Please follow Azure's documentation on how to setup the Application Gateway for VMs.
