Current Row number of ReportDefinition which is ranked by a column
I am using a report definition to populate a datapage. Within the report definition , I am using top 5 ranking using one of the column (using settings at the bottom of the RD Query Tab). I want to set the current row number as a column in the report definition. Please not that I am only using Report Definition to query DB , It is used with in an activity as a source to a Data page . i don't have a repeating grid UI component , which is the most common use case for RD. So front end solutions don't apply . (screen shot of RD rule and pages & classes tab are attached )
So far I have tried refering pzRank and pyReportContentPage.pxResults().pxListSubscript clipboard properies. But I got error . Most common error is " This record has 1 error(s) in 1 place(s) .Message Label— ** pzUnexpPropinExtTable " . It like I can only using mapped fields in the column name. Also I tried postgresfunction to return the row index . That didn't work either.
Any help will be highly appreciated,

Hi Mounika,
I have seen that post before posting mine. That post is not really helpful as I am developing a REST service and Report Definition is used to populate the Data page for it. I don't have any repeating grid or any other front end part to it.
However , I resolved the issue in my business case by using pxListSubscript inside my service activity in the response mapping.
But the problem still persist. Is there a way to specify ranking (or current row number) with in a report definition column ?
