ReportDefinition and Section
i have a requirement to add two coloumns to existing section which is on repeteting layout with source from report definition. I have added two coloumns in report definition aswell but unable to pull data to report definiton. but the data is present in database.
here is what i did so far
added a class which contains new properties under data access in RD and able to see them in drop down, but when i ran the report its not getting popolated

If this is a external table that you are connecting to. It should have been mapped to an Data-Admin-DB-Table instance. Please save this instance and try executing the Report definition.

Do you notice the values of the two columns populated when you run the report definition as a stand alone ?
Make sure that you do not have any rule set version restrictions ? May be the report definition with the extra columns added is in a higher rule set than the section and probably not the version getting picked up ?

So you are saying that your data is present in DB
But when you are refereing those in the grid you are not getting any data.
Added with what Krithiga suggested, couple of other things to check
1. Is there any filter condition in the Report definition ?
2. If there is no filter condition then run the RD standalone and check the outcome ? Are you getting the expected set of data ?
3. If yes then you need to focus on UI level as in why the data is not reflecting in UI. The best way to start checking the same is run tracer and see while loading the UI whether your RD is returning the correct data or not . Also check the generated query and see whether it is formed correctly or not.
4. Using fiddler also a good option to try to see the http response coming back
