Creating a New Work Object in a Pop Up
Hi Guys,
We have a requirement to create a new case on the click of a button on the harness in Data-Portal on the user portal. The Default 'Create Work' on click action is creating and launching the work object in a harness that replaces the current screen.
How can I have the workobject in a pop-up instead.
Please suggest.

I achieved the basic functionality using the activities createWorkPage, AddWork and commitWithErrorHandling in order.
On click of the submit button on the modal dialog, however, am adding on click action Finish Assignment.
It is throwing an error in Reload Section activity stating it cannot find XYZ section. (XYZ section is the section from which modal dialog was launched).
XYZ is in Data-Portal.
Please suggest.

The main proble as of now launching the work object in a modal dialog is assignment is not finished once submitted. We have to explicitly finish it.In the post processing activity of the flow action launched did you try adding this finish assignment or if this is the last assignment in the stage pxChangeStage in the post processing activity?

you can use open url in window action by calling your activity .so that new window will be opened
