In Pega Marketing, there is a component called Segment Filter which is in the same category as the Filter.
I agree though that if you have never seen Pega Marketing this question is a bit tricky. Therefore we will change it.

1.I am planning to take the CPDC- Decisioning Consultant Certification.
Is understanding of pega Marketing required to do good in this test?
2.Any pointers for more exercise questions for this?
3.having gone through the PCDC course, what I feel is- there is a blurred line between the technical and business users when it comes to decisioning, Marketing, NBAM, analytics in pega. And these are fragmented yet look related to each other. I hope, there will be more clarity on these two fronts in the coming pega versions.
4.Is the Pega PCDC 7.2 V1 going to be relevant in near future with good amount of impending changes in Pega 7.3?

No. It would be interesting and helpful for you to see how Decision management is used in pega Marketing but for the CPDC certification it is not required.

Just follow the quizz questions, rehearse the student guide and you should be good for the exam.

Absolutely. The core concepts remain the same. There are new features in 7.3 which will be addressed with new modules. Stay tuned on this as nearly every week we are releasing new learning modules.
