Copy Files from Pega Unix box to Windows using CIFS Share

We have a requirment to copy excel files from pega unix box service export directory to a windows shared path using CIFS protocol. Ay poiners on how we can do this in pega prpc will be very useful.

Please provide your Pega version so that people can give relevant ideas.

Is CIFS an absolute requirement? Pega has support for using the FTP protocol to transfer files to other systems.

Are you able to mount the windows directory on the unix machine? With that, you would be able to treat the windows machine as a local resource.

Otherwise, you may need to look into some custom logic involving a library like jcifs: https://jcifs.samba.org
