Convert correspondence to PDF
Hi, I have a requirement to give user an option to export a correspondence attached with the case, to a PDF (It should contain all the fields like To, From, Subject, Body...etc). There is an OOTB activity HTMLToPDF but how can I convert the attachment to HTML which should be passed to this activity. Can someone pls help with this or can provide any other solution.

Hi @soodn: When you say correspondence email attached to the case, I believe it is an instance of "Data-Corr-Email" and not "Data-WorkAttach-File. If this is the case, you should be able to get the body, from and to opening the instance of "Data-Corr-Email" which can be further used to create your HTML / Section.

Hi @ArulDevan, Thank you for your reply. I am able to see To, From, Body..etc fields separately, can you pls elaborate how do i convert them into an HTML stream and pass it to HTMLToPDF?

Hi @soodn: Great. You can create a HTML rule (RULE-OBJ-HTML) where you can include a section (or) define your own HTML by referencing the properties. Once this HTML rule is available, you can use it as parameter to HTMLToPDF (or) can use Property-Set-HTML to get the HTML data as Markup parameter.
Please check the references of HTMLToPDF activity for some example of prior implementation (pzGenerateComplianceDetailsPDF) in product.
