@TaniyaD3 In the Context Dictionary, the Inbound phone property on the Primary Context is mainly there to help Pega identify which customer (primary context entity) an inbound interaction belongs to when all you have is a phone number (like ANI/caller ID or an inbound SMS number). The Additional Inbound phone field is typically a second phone attribute you want Pega to also consider for that same inbound matching (for example, check both Mobile and Home/Alternate phone). What this really means is it’s an inbound identification aid, not an outbound delivery setting. Sending SMS is driven by your SMS channel setup and the outbound SMS account, plus whatever phone number you pass as the recipient. So no, the system won’t automatically send SMS to “Additional Inbound phone” just because it’s filled in the Context Dictionary; you can send to it only if your SMS correspondence/flow explicitly maps that property as the To number. The Context Dictionary itself is about decisioning contexts and how actions are addressed across those entities, not about choosing outbound recipients.
@Sairohith Thanks for the response. It really helped to understand the use of additional inbound phone property in context dictionary.
