Constellation - Work Queue and Custom Reports for Insights
Hi Team,
Using Constellation, I have a requirement to fetch the items from workgroup, join it with work class and display as a table. Using ToDo Widget, I am not able to display the results in table format.
Another requirement is enable custom search in Team Worklist. For that Using view, I am able to display the work items assigned to user in my team(Team Worklist) but I am not able to display the assigned users list as dropdown for search.
Also, is there a possibility to build insight using custom reports.
Can any one please suggest possible solutions for the above requirements. Appreciate your inputs.

1) The to-do widget can't be configured with custom report definition rules.
2) To achieve this requirement, you must create a landing page. However, pxPages need to be copied down to scalar properties on the main table with the help of response data transform.
Promote filters on Landing pages that work only on Scalar properties.
3) Also, is there a possibility to build insight using custom reports. - No, it's not possible.

1. For showing items from workgroup and work class join in a table , you can create a new data page sourcing a report definition. This data page can be used as a source for embedded property on a view. Another way is to use insights to create this table structure.
2. For Team worklist search , the existing widget cannot be modified. We can create search pattern using a custom view.
3. We can build insights using only Data pages. These data pages can be sourced from report definition. You can find more details here - Explore Landing Page
